Florida Keys Fall Fishing Season
The Florida Keys' fishery stays active and abundant all year round and the Fall is no exception. Blackfin Tunas take over the famous Florida Keys humps, devouring acres of migrating schools of Sardines. Deep sea fishing for Dolphin (Mahi-Mahi) is still very productive and can usually be done in route to and from the Islamorada Tuna grounds. The Snapper fishing on the edge of the Florida Keys' barrier reef stays consistently good throughout the Fall and Grouper hook-ups are a regular occurrence. Charter fishing trips off of Islamorada during the Fall include a mixed bag of Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Mahi, Yellowtail Snapper, Grouper, and Amberjack, depending on the conditions.
All of the species previously mentioned can be caught year round in Islamorada, as well as a number of other species depending upon the conditions. If you would like to target a particular species, or have any questions please Contact Us.
